Chapter 02
Belief System
A custom-made constitution that quietly decides every move you make.
Part 1
The belief system is a custom-made constitution for each one of us, which when combined and summarised, makes the belief system of humanity — the illusion of humanity. We use this constitution to judge ourselves, and others, for every action done.
The belief system developed in us unconsciously, and operates unconsciously — which is why, for so many reactions you give to any situation, you only meditate later to see if you were "right" with the decision you made. It happened unconsciously, kesi baadaye.
Back to the 2 or 3-year-old kid: the kid never punishes itself for a mistake more than once, the way we do as adults. If you spoil a toy of the kid, the kid gets annoyed and cries — feels sad. You console the kid and offer to repair the toy. The kid reconnects with you, joins you with love to repair the toy, and is so happy after it is made.
As an adult? If Joel lends Moses his bicycle and it gets spoilt, Joel will punish himself every time someone asks to borrow it — by getting sad when he remembers Moses spoilt it once. This is self-domestication — adding rules to your personal constitution.
Parents, school and church did it to you: "don't associate with so and so", "always go to church every Sunday", "only education can help you in life", "you must accept Jesus to live well" — and you agreed. That is why it is part of your belief system.
Part 2
The belief system contains the rules and laws that domesticate you to behave like a human being — not to be wild. But not known to many, it also contains rules that ensure you are well hooked to the systems of the world: education, religion, government and business.
If you believe in the education system, good life is only achievable by being successful academically. If you believe in religion, a good life is defined by what your religious leader tells you. If you go against any of their instructions, you feel a sinner, you feel guilty, you admit suffering as the consequence of your disobedience.
If you believe in the government system, your life on earth is supposed to be guided by some authority. If you believe in the business system, everything to you is business — any action meant to benefit someone else must be paid back for.
In the next part, let's know how to exist with all these systems — not religiously following any, but as free humans.
Part 3
"As adults, you are no longer innocent of your actions."
Beliefs extend to very common things that define your daily life — but you don't realise how you are the cause of all good and bad things that happen to you.
You are told subaru cars are very fast, and you believe it — then you drive yours very fast, no car outdoes you. You believed it, it happened.
You are told junk foods cause cancer, and you believe it — then you eat junk food for lack of options, you stay in fear, and then it happens. You believed it, it happened.
You believe in yourself for a project, a course, an item you are making — and you succeed. You believed it, it happened.
Make step one of regaining your energy by questioning your beliefs. For every decision you make, ask: which beliefs guided this? Once you know, ask: who do they benefit — me, or another person/authority/religion/business?
Part 4
We can now take charge of our belief system — know which beliefs are for our good, and which continue the illusion of humanity. To be free humans, we need to understand the world and have the freedom to be ourselves — to act without fear of judgement by self or others.
We first understand the biggest force in our lives — we call it God. God is life. God is love. God is the only one who lives in this world. We all have a portion of God in ourselves, and that is why we are alive.
In your house you have appliances — a TV, a speaker, a microwave, a fridge — all creations of electricity. If electricity is not there, a fridge is not a fridge, a TV is not a TV. We are appliances of God. God is our electricity. Once God leaves your body, we say you are dead — you are no longer you.
Breathe in and out consciously. Feel the air in and out of your lungs. You will feel God. God is everywhere. God is life. God is love.
Part 5
Our minds hate mysteries — our minds want to understand everything. This drives innovation, research, discoveries, and theories.
Heaven and hell are places that exist in our minds — not destinations after death, as we are told. Some of us are in heaven already, and a vast majority are in hell.
Part 6 — Man Becomes God (a)
With our belief system, we judge ourselves and others for every action: good or bad, right or wrong. This is the judgement the religious books speak of.
If you judge an action as good, you feel good, you are happy, you have joy — this is heaven. If you judge it as bad, you feel sad, you have anger and disappointment — this is hell.
Your mind is your soul, your life. When your body sleeps, your mind does not — you dream. We say God never sleeps. Your soul is part of our one powerful God, our electricity. It never sleeps. Like energy, it never dies — it only changes form.
After death, you no longer have the capacity to undo actions. If all judgements you made about yourself were bad, you continue as a spirit full of regret — you ended up in hell. If all judgements were good, you continue full of joy and peace — you ended up in heaven.
Part 7 — Man Becomes God (b)
Now we are on how you can achieve heaven while here on earth — ascending to heaven with both body and soul. Judging yourself and others as good, or actually not judging at all, gives us peace, gives us joy. This is the path to heaven.
As we are God's appliances, we are one. The life in me is the same life in you, and life is God. We are equal in the eyes of God. Only that we have different bodies — a microwave that heats, a fridge that cools, a TV that shows pictures. But all use the same electricity.
Love yourself, for you have God in you and God is love. Be happy for who you are. Feel the joy, the peace, when you breathe — you are alive, God is with you.
"I love you very much, like God loves me."
Part 8
By love yourself, I mean this: always do your best in anything you are doing — for yourself and for others. Working? Do your best. Helping? Do your best. Having fun? Do your best. This way, when memories come, you will always conclude that you did your best. Sadness, anger, regret, shame — none will be the outcome of your judgement on yourself.
By love the other person, I mean: mind your words. Always say words that create love — peace, comfort, encouragement, support. Avoid words that create fear — anger, discouragement, jealousy.
Interpret others by their own position. Don't take things personally. When someone tells you something, it is their thought, their opinion, their status of mind. It has nothing to do with you.
Always ask questions if you don't know — do not assume. Heaven is a place of joy, abundance, full of love. The above defines how to live in heaven on earth.
Part 9 — Defend Your Heaven
While you live in heaven on earth, you meet all kinds of people, and aggression to pull you back to the state of the world will keep coming. The bible calls these temptations.
A short story: in the village, some neighbours have aggressive dogs. If you walk past with courage and do nothing, the dog barks while watching you pass — it does nothing. If you are not courageous, you turn back or try to scare the dog, which only aggresses it more.
If you have chosen to live happily, to have a heaven of yourself — defend your heaven, the peaceful state of your soul. Let no one infect you with bad emotions. It is their opinion, their state of mind. Choose to only respond to peaceful minds — they can only infect you with peace.
Part 10 — Love & Fear
Love and fear are the only emotions in us, manifested in different ways. They are the only emotions our brains convert our material energy into. And they rule the world.
God is love, and Satan is fear.
Love is the origin of happiness, joy, peace, trust, honesty, encouragement, friendship, harmony. Fear is the origin of sadness, anger, discouragement, jealousy, shame, embarrassment, fights, war, break-ups.
Without fear, we could not be jealous of each other — the success of the other would be your success. We would help each other so happily that no one would lack anything. The world would be a place of abundance — a place of happiness, love, God.
Part 11
Fear would be a good thing if it kept you from real danger. But fear works more to block you from achieving what you want — you are not sure of the outcome, so you fear even starting. You then come up with a word: RISK, which you use instead of fear, to cover your fear.
Satan — remember, fear — was chased out of heaven and sent to the world, where he rules. All operations in this world are ruled by fear: fear of the unknown, fear of punishment, fear of death, fear of the future.
You want to avoid Satan? Avoid fear — be yourself and take risks.
You want to live with God? Embrace love — always do your best and mind what you create with your words to others.
Regards.
